The Indonesian Rupiah(Rp.) is issued in bills ranging from
100 to 100,000 notes. Coins are of little value and change
is often given in the form of confectionery. In early 2004
the rate was near 8,300 to the US dollar, and very liable

What
to Wear
Loose, light clothing is the best. Consideration should be
given to the conservative lifestyle of Indonesian people,
and for this reason it is the best to cover up in public places.
When entering a temple it is necessary to don a sarong and
a sash. Swimsuits should be covered with a shirt and sarong
if worn public places other than swimming pools and beaches.

Hotels

your Hotels budget.
You know that in certain periods, some hotels will apply surcharge
charge to their guests because of high/peak season
Culture
and Customs
Balinese are generally very polite people and smile characteristic.
Shaking hand is usual upon introduction. Using the left hand
to give and receive something is taboo, and crooking a finger
or pointing with the foot is impolite. Temple ceremonies and
other ritual are sacred events and traditional clothing should
be worn, or at least a sash. Do not climb on the temple walls
or walk in front of praying people.
Food & Beverages Sanur has a wide
variety of both elegant and informal dining. The hotels in
the Sanur MICE Consortium all offer a choice of specialized
restaurants, poolside buffet, barbeque, and coffee shops.
The Sanur village
community has its own beach market, serving local specialties
and fresh grilled fish, and there are Japanese, Italian, and
organic restaurants as well as bakeries, delicates sans and
patisseries within the village. Check

Shopping
Souvenir items, consisting of different locally woven fabrics,
wood-carving, basketry, art, handicraft, and antiques, are
available throughout Bali.
Sanur is noted for
its distinct miniature outrigger sail boat and brightly colored
kites. Bargaining is the norm outside department store and
shops where prices are labele. Most shops open seven days
a week. Don't bring so many clothes from your home unless
you need them for certain events. Bali provide you with many
shopping centers in a low prices.
Language
The very musical local dialect, Bahasa Bali,
is most commonly spoken at home and in the village. At the
school children are taught the national language, bahasa Indonesia,
and this is the language of business in Indonesia. Hotel staff
speaking English and travel agency staff are happy to translate,
during tours and even on shopping. Here are some common expressions
